October 3, 2019

We may have finally found a more ambitious crossover than “Avengers: Infinity War.”

Two of the most renowned brands in chocolate and beer are teaming up to bring consumers the ultimate thirst-quenching treat, chocolate beer.

Hershey’s is taking their quintessential ingredients and blending it with Yuengling’s craft brewery to form Yuengling Hershey’s Chocolate Porter, according to CNN.

The limited-edition beverage blends Hershey’s chocolate with caramel and dark roasted malts of Yuengling’s nearly 200-year-old Dark Brewed Porter to create a smooth and rich taste that’s sure to please beer and chocolate lovers alike.

“We spent nearly a year developing our Yuengling Hershey’s Chocolate Porter and are excited for the world to indulge in the classic taste of Yuengling Dark Brewed Porter blended with the unmistakable taste of Hershey’s chocolate,” Yuengling said in a statement.

They also claim the 4.7% ABV brew goes well with everything from cheese and desserts to barbecued meats. We’ll drink to that!

Unfortunately, you won’t be able to purchase bottles of it in stores, as it will only be available on draft in restaurants and bars in the following states: Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, Massachusetts, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Delaware, Indiana, Kentucky, as well as in Washington, D.C. Condolences to everyone on the West Coast!
